Alexandria Symphony Orchestra’s After School Music Program, Sympatico to Perform at Old Town Farmers Market

Launched in 2013 Sympatico serves more than 100 students, every school day, Monday through Friday. Students in Kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to participate in any of the five ensembles, free of charge.

Alexandria Symphony Orchestra’s music education program Sympatico will present a free concert in front of City Hall during the Farmers Market on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. The concert is provided in partnership with Coldwell Banker (Alexandria office) to raise awareness about this award-winning before and after school music program at John Adams Elementary School (ACPS). Participating students will attend a special open house after-party at the Coldwell Banker offices across the street, immediately following their performance.
