Alexandria High School Hosts 25th Annual “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work” Day

On Thursday, April 26 at 8 a.m., at T.C. Williams High School, the City of Alexandria’s Commission for Women and the Department of Community and Human Services will host the 25th Annual Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

Students from T.C. Williams High School and Minnie Howard Campus will be introduced to various career fields as they spend the day shadowing City employees and employees from other employers for the day.
This year’s theme: Service Force: Agents of Positive Change
Who likes change? We all do when it is positive and makes the whole team better. Being an agent for POSITIVE change impacts everyone around you. Real change happens when you decide to assist others.
By doing the best you can and looking for ways to be agents of POSITIVE change you help make the workplace more successful. Do your part to ensure the future is brighter for everyone.
