Alexandria Bachelor Wins $10 MILLION
George Coffroad, owner of Fairfax Gutter Company, is $10 million richer today. He splurged on a $30 scratch-off ticket he bought at the Sunoco gas station by Landmark, and tossed it aside in his truck until he got home that day to feed his two cats. When he finished scraping away the opaque silver film hiding the mystery winning numbers, he nearly flipped wondering if he had read it correctly.
Opting for the $5.6 million lump payment, the hard working gutter man may treat himself and the cats to a few treats, but Coffroad intends to tuck his winnings away for retirement.
And it’s a nice day for the Sunoco station too because it picks up $50k for selling him the winner.
