Alexandria Sheriffs Help Lumberton , NC

To help those still suffering from the devastation caused by Hurricane Matthew, members of the Alexandria Sheriff’s Office and the Alexandria Sheriff’s Association sent bottled water and other donations to Lumberton, N.C. In early November, Myron Contee, the Sheriff’s Office chaplain, delivered 6,000 bottles of water to Lumberton. There he met Lumberton Mayor Bruce Davis and others working on the recovery effort. Chaplain Contee’s ministry also donated non-perishable food and offered spiritual support.
