February Puppet Shows at Durant Arts Center by the National Capital Puppetry Guild
ALEXANDRIA, VA–The National Capital Puppetry Guild in collaboration with the Office of the Arts will present Beech Tree Puppets at two family-friendly puppet shows 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. on February 17 at the Durant Arts Center, 1605 Cameron St.
Beech Tree Puppets, founded in 2012 by Ingrid and Ole Hass, features meaningful stories, artfully told with hand-crafted puppets and sets and the use of simple instruments and beautiful singing. The repertory currently has six shows, with two more being created for 2018. Beech Tree Puppets has also designed unique educational workshops that enhance and support the regular school curriculum.
Reservations per show are $5 for person, including children. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult. To purchase tickets online, visit www.alexandriava.gov/webtrac, select activity number:
