Portion of Four Mile Run Trail Closed for Repairs on May 30 and 31

ALEXANDRIA–On Wednesday, May 30, and Thursday, May 31, the City of Alexandria will close a portion of the Four Mile Run Trail for crack repairs. This work was originally slated for May 16 and 17, but was rescheduled due to weather conditions.

The work will begin near the trail entrance on Commonwealth Avenue and end just before the bridge over the Four Mile Run tributary. A map of the affected area and alternative routes can be viewed both below and online. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on May 31, weather permitting.
