Alexandria Primary Voting Up Significantly From Three Years Ago

At noon today, Anna Leider, General Registrar for the City of Alexandria, issued a press email declaring, “2018 numbers are quite a bit higher than 2015.”

Leider further stated, “At noon in 2015, we had 6.49% turnout without absentee and  7.81% with absentee. At noon in 2018, we have 9.42% without absentee and 11.54% with absentee.” 

A “final turnout” was released at 4:59 pm, which is shown above, and polls do remain open until 7 pm today, June 12, 2018.
