Alexandria’s Bagels and Bach Concert Series Starts October 7

The first “Bagels and Bach” Concert for the fall is scheduled for Sunday, October 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Durant Arts Center, 1605 Cameron St.  You will enjoy classical music, your children will become aware and will learn how to appreciate classical music, and you will be treated to a light brunch. What better way to enjoy a Sunday morning?

The October 7 concert will showcase the String Ensemble from the Symphony Orchestra of Northern Virginia (SONOVA).  The ensemble is comprised of eight of SONOVA’s finest string musicians.  The Ensemble will perform a concert of classical favorites from composers such as Mozart, Handel, Mouret, and Brahms.  Additionally, they will perform the Northern Virginia premier of Michael Ream’s Parish Suite No. 5.
