Obituary: Alexandria Living Legend, Alice Morgan (July 17, 1943 – November 4, 2018)
The Living Legends of Alexandria released the news that Alice Morgan passed away on November 4, 2018:
“We are sad to report the November 4th passing of Alice Morgan, a 2015 Living Legend and member of Living Legends of Alexandria board of directors from 2010 to 2013. Ms. Morgan received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for Community Service in Alexandria in 2012 from President Obama, a reflection of her active involvement in affordable housing, senior citizen advocacy and affordable health care, among numerous other community services.”
Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, November 9 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 3500 19th Street S Arlington, VA and the funeral service starts there at 11 am.
