PHOTOS: Alexandria Love Your Pet Day Big Success

Over 80 vendors on site with tents and displays passing out swag and offering samples.

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Just into its third year, Alexandria, Virginia’s “Love Your Pet Day” has exploded. On April 28, 2019, the event boasted over 80 vendors on site with tents and displays passing out swag and offering samples to crowds of people who showed up with dogs and kids to cruise the asphalt between Colvin and Roth Streets, just off Duke Street in the long shadow of the George Washington Masonic Temple.

In addition to the homemade dog biscuits and embroidered pet kerchiefs, people enjoyed the tunes of Kate Moran and the Rainbow Rock Band, and got photos snapped at numerous “step and repeat” red-carpet type displays.
