Alexandria, VA – Do you want some coffee at night? How about gelato? Java Grill at 611 King Street opened last year, and now wants to extend its operating hours from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. to 7 a.m.-11 p.m.

The restaurant filed a minor amendment with the city, and otherwise is requesting no changes. That means you’ll still be able to find the same beer and wine and menu.

“We’ve noticed that we have a lot of patrons come in five minutes before closing to get some desserts and coffee,” said manager Katarina Tran. “We want to bring people in who want a late dinner as well.”
