Alexandria, VA – The Alexandria Heath Department (AHD) is welcoming residents to attend a conversation on the health status of Alexandrians and will cover steps to address top issues.

This meeting – entitled “Building a Healthier Alexandria Together” – is the result of the year-long Community Health Assessment. The AHD worked with local and regional partners on the Assessment, which gathered public survey results alongside data on a number of topics, including health, education, and hunger and food access.

Attendees are asked to register online and to select a meal preference. Interpreters will be available for the following languages: Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, and American Sign Language.

The event will be held on Wednesday, June 26 at Beth El Hebrew Congregation on 3830 Seminary Road from 6:30–8:30 p.m.
