Photos: Local Colour Celebrates Pride Month By Painting Rainbow Zebras

The event was held on June 13 at Diya Indian Cuisine, and the artists created their work on a 11x14-inch canvases.

Alexandria, VA – Zebras are all about blending in and inclusivity. So, In recognition of June as Pride Month, Local Colour Old Town owner Rachael Bright recently guided artists in a step-by-step process to create rainbow zebras! Pretty awesome, right?

The event was held on June 13 at Diya Indian Cuisine, and the artists created their work on a 11×14-inch canvases. For $35, the participants were given Indian food and paint supplies and walked through the process of making their zebra beautiful.
