This is one of the most fun podcasts we’ve done to date! Alexandria Sheriff Dana Lawhorne and Bill Blackburn, a partner in the Alexandria-based Homegrown Restaurant Group, are real characters, and have been friends for more than a decade.
Don’t Miss: 40 Years and Counting: It’s The Dana Lawhorne Show
We also talk with jazz drummer and bandleader Jack Kilby, whose “Love Is A Song Anyone Can Sing” was recently awarded the 2019 Wammie Award for Best Jazz Album! The album was a labor of love for the 29-year-old Kilby, who is a lifelong Alexandrian and – like Lawhorne, is a graduate of T.C. Williams High School.
Kilby is a great artist, and we hope you enjoy the interview!
