Del Ray Business Association board member Bill Blackburn; Alexandria City Council Member Canek Aguirre; Nectar Yoga founder Jane Bahneman and her son, Brady; Alexandria Vice Mayor Elizabeth Bennett-Parker; Alexandria Mayor Justin Wilson; and Power Nectar Yoga studio coordinator Vanessa Thomas cut the ribbon to open Power Nectar Yoga, a hot yoga studio in Potomac Yard featuring a diverse line-up of classes.
Alexandria, VA- Power Nectar Yoga founder Jane Bahneman, a resident of Alexandria since 2006, expressed excitement about opening Nectar Yoga’s latest studio in her own backyard. “It’s awesome to be planting a business in a place where my all friends and family and neighborhood are, and has been for a long time,” said Bahneman. “We strive to create an atmosphere that inspires, allowing space for self-exploration both physically and spiritually. We provide practical ways to allow each individual to realize their fullest potential through yoga, fitness, and wellness services.” The studio, a certified Green Globe building, is located at 2708 Richmond Highway.
