All proceeds will support Rebuilding Together DC • Alexandria’s work to create healthy neighborhoods for residents in DC and Alexandria by maintaining housing for low-income homeowners; providing critical home repairs that eliminate health and safety hazards; renovating schools, parks, and other common spaces in underserved neighborhoods; and creating homeownership opportunities.

“Raise a Roof is a great opportunity each year for the community to come together, have fun, and support our critical mission,” said Katharine Dixon, President and CEO of Rebuilding Together DC • Alexandria. “The proceeds from this event will make a real difference in our community and help us serve even more individuals and families in need.”

For 33 years, over 29,000 Rebuilding Together DC • Alexandria volunteers have repaired more than 2,200 homes and public spaces, leveraging $8.8 million worth of in-kind value.
