Stephanie Landrum Named Business Leader of the Year!

And see who else won awards for being the Best in Business in Alexandria this year!

Alexandria, VA – Stephanie Landrum has made a difference in Alexandria, and on Oct. 2 made history! Landrum, who is the president and CEO of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership, is the 2019 Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s Business Leader of the Year.

Landrum was honored for a pivotal role in bringing Virginia Tech’s Innovation Campus to Alexandria and Amazon’s HQ2 to Arlington.

“This is my hometown,” Landrum said. “I look forward to the implementation of these projects and I am committed to continuing to work in Alexandria.”

Charlotte Hall, board chair of the chamber, said that the organization values Landrum and her team for their effectiveness.

“There are many things we have yet to accomplish,” Hall said. “We sure hope that she’s going to remain here with us for a few more years. We value her intelligence, confidence and her competence.”
