ALEXANDRIA,VA- Many parish members at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 711 N. Columbus Street, are direct descendants of the 1700 individuals buried at the Contrabands and Freedman Cemetery., 1001 South Washington Street. There will now be a rosary prayer said at the memorial the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. Please pray for all the souls buried there who died seeking freedom.
