T.C. Williams Sends Note Out About $25 Per Hour Census Jobs

ALEXANDRIA, VA – In the January 16, 2020 e-newsletter, Peter Balas, principal of T.C. Williams High School tells friends and family that “T.C. Williams is doing its part in making sure that everyone is counted in the upcoming census.”

Balas continued by letting the community know about the well-paying jobs The Census Bureau is offering for enumerators–or people counters–for the 2020 Census.

According to the notice, “Pay will be as high as $25 per hour. To serve as an enumerator, one must be a U.S. Citizen and 18 years old by April 1. Work will begin in April and May and will continue into the summer.

Most work will be nights and weekends, when people are likely to be home. Enumerators will work in their own communities, talking with their neighbors. Please apply at 2020census.gov/jobs.”

Now that’s good news!
