MAKE-A-WISH® MID-ATLANTIC PARTNERS WITH &PIZZA TO BRING HOPE TO LOCAL WISH KIDS
Alexandria, Va – On Thursday, May 28, 2020, Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic and &pizza are teaming up to grant wishes for local children battling critical illnesses.
From 11 AM until closing, pizza lovers and Make-A-Wish supporters in the DMV can order from &pizza online as Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic Partners with &pizza. By using the code WISH20 at checkout on the &pizza website or through the &pizza app, 50% of the order total will be donated to Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic to grant more wishes for kids like Mason, age 11 from Washington, DC; Avery, age 6 from Takoma Park, MD; and Claire, age 9 from Alexandria, VA.
Orders can be placed for pick-up or delivery from any &pizza location in DC, Maryland and northern Virginia to help grant wishes. As a vast majority of local wishes are currently on hold due to COVID-19, over 90 wish children have already faced the disappointment of waiting indefinitely for their special wish moments. The money raised with &pizza will have an amplified impact, ensuring Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic can continue to grant the wishes it is safe to grant at this time while also ensuring the 90+ wishes that have been postponed can be granted as soon as possible.
Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic is working hard to continue granting wishes it is safe to grant at this time, including wishes to have computers and other electronics, virtual shopping sprees, adaptive equipment, campers and more. More than 20 children since March have received wishes that will make the pandemic and overall life enjoyable and memorable.
