Alexandria, VA – Today only, June 1, Metrorail will close one hour early, with last outbound trains departing at 8 p.m. and inbound service ending earlier.

Metrobus service will suspend all service two hours early, at 9 p.m. No alternate transportation will be provided.

This decision was made in the interest of public safety based on an announced 7 p.m. curfew in the District of Columbia.
