City of Alexandria Releases COVID-19 Video Series

Animated videos show how to stop the spread of the illness

ALEXANDRIA, VA – In an effort to further help the community, the City of Alexandria recently posted animated videos. These short videos show how everyone plays a part in stopping the spread of the coronavirus and the illness it causes, COVID-19.

The three videos are available in multiple languages. The first is called “Six Steps to Stop the Spread.” It can be viewed in English, Spanish, Arabic, and Amharic.

A second video demonstrates steps to take if.sick so the illness does not spread to others. It can also be viewed in English, Spanish, Arabic, and Amharic.

The final video provides tips for residents who need help during the pandemic. It is also available in English, Spanish, Arabic, and Amharic. It covers a variety of topics including food, health care, and substance abuse.
