Cat in a Box – February 2020

The next time your cat finds his or her way into a boxy predicament, snap a photo and send it to us.

R.I.P. Archie

Alexandria, VA – “This is a photo of Archie, our beloved cat who we lost to cancer on January 1, 2020. Archie was 12 years old and a large presence in our lives. Archie never missed an opportunity to jump into an empty box, grocery bag or suitcase. In the attached photo, Archie jumped into the box a few seconds after I pulled out its contents. Archie is survived by his human parents Susan Miller and Paul Polinger and his little brother, Ziggy (who sorely misses cuddling with his older brother),” wrote cat dad, Paul.

The next time your cat finds his or her way into a boxy predicament, snap a photo and send it to us. If we publish it, you will win a $25 gift card to an area retailer or restaurant. Be sure to include your cat’s name, your name, and your home address in case you win (so we can mail you your prize!). Please send to [email protected] with CAT IN A BOX in the subject line, along with a descriptive sentence or two.

Susan and Paul just picked up a $25 gift card from Chadwicks Restaurant in Old Town and have Zebra’s deepest condolences over the loss of their beloved Archie.
