ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Immanuel Church on-the-Hill’s Pumpkin Patch is back! The Pumpkin Patch has been held each October for 27 years. The 2020 version is open every day from Oct. 4-31. Mondays to Fridays are noon to 6 p.m. and weekends are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

As usual, the the Pumpkin Patch will take place outside. But the church has still made sure that health and safety precautions are in place. They have been certified by the Alexandria Health Department as a member of ALX Promise. This means that visitors and volunteers will wear masks, there will be options for touchless payment, social distancing will be followed, the area will be cleaned regularly.

Pumpkins and gourds will be available for purchase, along with home-made soups and baked goods. To get visitors in a festive mood for Halloween, themed crafts will also be on sale. And the famous apple crisp will be there to take home.

All proceeds benefit over 25 local, national, and international charities that directly support feeding, housing, educating, and caring for people in need. Local organizations to benefit include Carpenters Shelter and Alexandria Neighborhood Health.

Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill is located at 3606 Seminary Road. Questions? Call 703-370-6555. There is no admission fee.
