Z-Pick: “The Lunchwich” To The Rescue For On-The-Go Meals

These days when parents are going bananas with virtual learning and trying to work at home, these little lunchwiches are a great go-to answer for quick meals

Alexandria, VA – A few weeks ago I got an email from Heather Stouffer asking me if I wanted to try the new lunchwich created by her Alexandria-based company, Mom Made Foods.  It was an easy yes for me because I frequently grab meals on the go and have a few friends with kids I knew I could use as taste-testers.

The four varieties of lunchwiches arrived beautifully shipped and in a thick styrofoam cooler and I got to work on evaluation and distribution right away.

I am happy to share ALL GOOD NEWS about these inventive, smartly-packaged crustless, frozen sandwiches, which are bagged and ready to go in four flavors: peanut butter-grape, cheddar, cheddar-mozzarella and cheddar-turkey.

These days when parents are going bananas with virtual learning and trying to work at home, I think these little lunchwiches are a great go-to answer for quick meals.  And the kids I talked to were enthusiastic about wanting more.

I liked them so much we plan to feature this Del Ray mom turned CEO next month in our December edition, so stay tuned to learn more about how this amazing company that got started selling at the Del Ray Farmers Market in 2006, has been around more than a decade providing families with healthy snacks and meals, including antibiotic-free, low sodium meatballs, organic macaroni and cheese, organic spaghetti and other kid-friendly favorites.

The lunchwich is available on grocery shelves now and can also be ordered online at mommadefoods.com.
