Alexandria, VA – “Being able to help people, what greater gift is there?” asks Marci Weis, as she emotionally explains why she is passionate about her newest adventure of sharing the innovative Aqueous Ozone Sanitizing Spray Bottle.
Many Alexandrians know her as the ‘Credit Card Lady’, but soon everyone will know the 30-year resident of the Del Ray neighborhood as the ‘Spray Bottle Lady.’ Marci is introducing the community to a revolutionary sanitizing spray bottle that turns ordinary tap water into a virus killer, and is on a mission to help educate others on how they can stay safe, and keep money in their pockets.
How Did She Find It?
Stumbling across the germ-killing bottle is a funny story of happenstance. One Sunday morning as Marci began her morning ritual and was heading straight for her espresso machine, she received an email from her partner, Becky Tate, which included a picture of the aqueous ozone bottle, and Marci was immediately fascinated by it.
Intrigued by all things technical and scientific, Marci wanted to know more about this magical bottle. Her mind started to race as she mentally composed a list of all of the people she knew and who would benefit from this find. She wasted no time in emailing the company to express her excitement for the product, and before she could take her first sip of espresso, she had a response from Jonathan Nussbaum, President of O3Waterworks.
Many have said that when Marci gets excited, you may as well get out of the way, and Marci was excited! “My energy knows no bounds,” said Marci. After talking with Jonathan, and phoning a well-respected colleague, Marci made her decision. This was an adventure that she wanted to be on, and she gathered notable investors to join her, including American soccer legend and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Brandi Chastain. Brandi jumped at the idea and “Save the World, LLC” was born with a mission to help sanitize the world.
Natural and Organic
Marci’s passion for the bottle comes from using products that are natural and organic. The fact that this product was safe and eco-friendly was reassuring, but the fact that this small appliance could be used to kill viruses was the selling point for Marci. Considering it uses only tap water and achieves a 99.9% virus reduction within 30 seconds against the Human Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2* (the virus that causes COVID-19), she knew she had to share this bottle with everyone and there was no better time than now.
Sholeen Damarwala, a product-review critic for thekitchn.com, recently released her take on the product, “For the past month [I] have been using it on almost every single item in my home (even my plants!). It’s hard to tangibly describe the impact of the spray on edible items like fruits and vegetables, but when it comes to surfaces, the results are visually evident. It restores stainless steel appliances back to their shiny selves, tackles deeply ingrained dirt and grime, snuffs out food odors after cooking, and even banishes moldy bathroom corners. Plus, the spray bottle has also been cleared by the FDA to kill 99.9 percent of harmful germs and pathogens, including household microorganisms, like E. coli. salmonella, and staph.”
“The idea that I could make the bottle available to a population that was suffering from extraordinary pain with the virus, was pretty overwhelming. I felt that it was a tremendous obligation to do what I could to help, and the quicker the better,” said Marci.
Del Ray Café is a Fan Already
Wanting to quickly share the exciting news, Marci reached out to friend, and restaurateur, Laurent Janowsky, co-owner of Del Ray Café. Laurent has been using the sanitizing spray bottle in his restaurant for a few weeks already, adding another layer of safety and protection to make his guests know his establishment is sanitizing at the highest levels.
“We think it makes sense for us,” says Laurent. “Anything that kills bacteria like this does, and is healthy for us to use around food, is a winner in our book. And the FDA says so too!”
How It Works
Marci urges people to take everything they know about cleaning and throw it out the window because the spray bottle will replace all of your existing cleaning products.
By simply adding tap water, and a pull of the trigger, the aqueous ozone is activated inside the bottle that breaks up germs and bacteria without leaving a residue. What is aqueous ozone? Essentially it is ozone dissolved in water. Ozone has long been an established as an enormously powerful disinfectant, but it has never been affordable for the common household or small business.
As an oxidizing agent, ozone attacks contaminants and pathogens before quickly returning to oxygen and water which evaporates without a trace of residue. In other words, the bottle transforms water into an intense, powerful sanitizing spray, and then converts it back to water. Unlike disinfectants, detergents, and bleaches, it won’t leave lingering chemicals behind, which is especially great if you have kids or pets at home.
To activate the bottle, you first have to charge it; a single eight-hour charge and 10-oz. fill of water lasts for two weeks (even with multiple uses a day), and the bottle is good for at least 600 refills, which, according to the brand, can last up to five years.
“The eco-friendly bottle is safe for all ages and all surfaces. It works great for cleaning fruits and vegetables, countertops, bathrooms, toothbrushes, toys and even your pets. With this sanitizing spray bottle, there’s no need to have chemicals in your cabinets ever again,” says Marci.
“This new way of protection will eliminate the use for previously used chemical methods. In today’s day and age, people are much more inclined to be attracted to everyday solutions that are natural and help to reverse the damage that has been done by harmful chemicals. The bottle is an incredibly simple and obvious alternative,” said Marci.
“The sanitizing spray bottle’s $199 price tag is low when you consider how much you are paying for those awful chemicals,” and “plus this one bottle will last 3-5 years or more!” says an enthusiastic Marci. To learn more about Marci Weis and Save the World, LLC, visit www.SaveTheWorldLLC.com.
