ALEXANDRIA, VA-It’s important to show you care, and the Alexandria Sheriff’s Office did that for some of the city’s seniors. For Valentine’s Day, they delivered goodie bags to Meals on Wheels participants.

Deputies filled dozens of treat bags with Valentine cards, mini bottles of hand sanitizer, bookmarks, lip balm, refrigerator magnets with scam awareness tips, and a File of Life kit.

During their Meals on Wheels routes Feb. 12, Capt. Sean Casey, Investigator Victor Ignacio, and other volunteers surprised seniors with the gifts.
