Full Bloom: Lena’s Pizza Opens Springtime Dining Experience

ALEXANDRIA, VA-A new dining experience opened in Del Ray recently. Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap is now welcoming customers to the Loft at Lena’s – Full Bloom. The setting is a mixture of colorful patterns and lush textures – both signs of the spring season. Walking in, customers will also see green grass and butterflies.

“With the seasons changing so are we! Our incredible team has really outdone themselves to bring the community an exciting and bold, completely original, new spring concept.” says Jason Yates, owner of Lena’s. “The Yates Family and our entire Team look forward to welcoming you and after this past year, it’s time we all live life in full bloom.”

The menu includes many spring-inspired items. There are new appetizers such as Burrata & Prosciutto, Fra Diavola Mussels & Shrimp Cocktail, and Strawberry & Baby Spinach Salad with house-made raspberry vinaigrette. Main dishes include Jumbo Lump Crabcakes and Whole Grilled Branzino with Puttanesca served with spring vegetables Wash a meal down with selection of cocktails and wine.

Live music will entertain diners every Thursday.

In addition to meeting and exceeding CDC COVID-19 guidelines and being an ALX Promise Pledge Partner, Lena’s has installed state-of-the-art, disinfection fans that kill 99.99 percent of airborne pathogens, including the coronavirus. These fans run 24 hours a day.

Full Bloom continues a partnership with the Yates family and Katie Kirby of the design firm REVOLUTION.
