Bob & Edith’s Diner is Coming to the Former Ernie’s Original Crab House Space

Husband and wife Bob and Edith Bolton opened the original Bob & Edith’s in Arlington, VA, in 1969. These diners are still in the family and their son, Greg Bolton, along with his two children, Tammy and Chris Bolton, continue to run them today. “My dad became an integral part of the Arlington community when he opened our original location, and my family has continued that tradition as we’ve continued to expand the Bob & Edith’s Diner brand,” said Greg Bolton. “My family and our dedicated staff are in our restaurants every day, and we can’t wait to become a part of the Old Town Alexandria community when we open our doors later this year.”

The menu will include all-day breakfast options along with endless coffee refills. It will also feature an extensive lunch and dinner menu. Freshly baked pies and hand-spun milkshakes will be offered for dessert.

Currently Bob & Edith’s diners can be found in Arlington, Huntington, Crystal City, Alexandria, and Springfield, Virginia.  Visit BobandEdithsDiner.com, @Bob_Ediths_Diner on Instagram and @BobandEdithsDiner on Facebook.
