Alexandria Police Department Reopens to Public

ALEXANDRIA, VA-Today the Alexandria Police Department reopened its doors to the public.

The lobby at headquarters can be accessed by the public for services in the Property Section and Information Services Section (Records), and Public Fingerprinting.

Until further notice, everyone entering the building must wear a mask and check in with security at the front desk.

The Information Services Section window will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  On Wednesday, the window is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Mail-in requests are still available as an alternative.

Public Fingerprinting is now available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
