Emmy Squared is Coming to Alexandria!

Alexandria, VA – Emmy Squared is coming to Alexandria! The closing of Pizza Paradiso at 124 King St. has created the opportunity for Emmy Squared to bring its celebrated Detroit-style pizza and handcrafted sandwiches to Old Town later this summer. Emmy Squared will offer dine-in, with additional outdoor seating, takeout and delivery. Located near the waterfront, this location will be the third in metro D.C. following the openings in Shaw and Navy Yard.

Emmy Squared’s Detroit-style pizza is marked by its square shape, crispy bottom, fluffy dough, cheesy “frico” crust and signature sauce stripes. In addition to the menu of red and white pizzas, guests can enjoy innovative pretzel bun sandwiches, including the Chicken Parm Sandwich, the Nashville Hot Katsu Sandwich, and the Le Big Matt burger. This popular burger is stacked with two grass-fed beef patties with American cheese, greens, pickles, and the signature Sammy Sauce on a pretzel bun. This double-stack burger was named ‘#1 Best Burger in Nashville’ by The Tennessean and Nashville Lifestyles, voted one of ‘The Best New Burgers In NYC’ by Gothamist, and listed as one of the ‘20 Best Burgers in NYC’ by The Infatuation. The menu also highlights a selection of approachable salads and sandwiches served on pretzel buns.Emmy Squared’s menu also features fresh, seasonal salads, shareable plate options like the Sriracha Crystal glaze wings and the cheesy garlic sticks, and crispy waffle fries, which can be topped “chopped cheese”-style with grass-fed beef and chili pimento cheese or made “Zia”-style with hatch chili pimento cheese, bacon, and ranch. On weekends, guests can experience a selection of menu items with the Weekend Family Meal which includes salad, plates, and pizza options for 4-6 people.
