ALEXANDRIA, VA – The original neon signs above the door at 911 King Street beckon you to visit The Majestic to see what’s inside.  Established in 1932, this iconic restaurant has been a part of Old Town Alexandria for more than 80 years.

Corporate Executive Chef Brandon Whitehouse oversees the dining experience which is perfect for a romantic date night, family dinner or happy hour with friends at the bar or on The Majestic’s expanded outdoor patio.  The contemporary bistro-style menu showcases seasonal selections and an extensive wine and cocktail menu.

Unique Libations

Jazz music keeps the atmosphere festive during weekday happy hours.  Along with the drink and food specials, guests can enjoy special Whiskey libations.  The Majestic partnered with a local VA distiller, Catoctin Creek, and carries many limited varieties such as Horse Soldier, Dalmore 25 and Blackened by Metallica.  Blackened is aged while Metallica music is played to it.  The playlist that corresponds to this aging process can be found online at blackenedwhiskey.com.

Modern Cuisine

General Manager Corey Branham describes The Majestic’s food as a “twist on Modern-American cuisine”. Branham says, “We do a lot to honor the memory and keep that little upscale diner/café kind of feel to it.  We offer classics that are a little twisted, like the Salt and Vinegar Popcorn on our happy hour menu.”
