This story has been updated with correct name of the exhibit’s location.
ALEXANDRIA, VA-Still Standing – Still Free, Inc., a nonprofit founded by photographers Joe Pisciotta, Sean Kelley, and Bob Pugh, have organized a special, free photograph exhibit to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon. Featuring their photographs from that day, the exhibit will be open from Sept. 11 to Oct. 11, 2021 at Fashion Center at Pentagon City. Hours are yet to be determined.
The purpose of the exhibit is to remind and educate people about the horrific events of that historic day. Besides photographs, there will also be a video and memorabilia. On Sept. 10, the Fashion Center will host a special VIP reception.
The Fashion Center is providing prime retail space for the display, as well as marketing and advertising assistance. To defray costs, the nonprofit is seeking sponsorships at various levels.
If there are any net proceeds, the amount will be donated to one or more organizations serving first responders, victims and/or families of the Pentagon attack, and/or veterans.
