Looks Like Mount Vernon Went to the Dogs!

Alexandria, VA – It was all about four-legged fun at Mount Vernon’s Grist Mill Park on March 27 when even the cold weather could not keep dog lovers from celebrating Mount Vernon Supervisor Dan Storck’s annual Ides of March event. “We are here to share our passion for animals,” Storck told the enthusiastic crowd who brought their pets or looked over some of the adorable dogs available for adoption. There were games, vendors, and even Pet First Aid/CPR demonstrations.
