Support Small Businesses During 13th Annual Alexandria Summer Sidewalk Sale

ALEXANDRIA, VA -One of the longest running seasonal summer shopping events returns to the D.C. region’s Shop Small destination for independent boutiques, Alexandria, Virginia. The annual Alexandria Summer Sidewalk Sale will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, throughout Old Town and beyond. The event features more than 40 Alexandria boutiques stepping out of their storefronts and offering deeply discounted summer merchandise plus live music activations on King Street to provide a soundtrack to your strolling.

Shoppers are invited to follow a map of participating stores along Alexandria’s red brick sidewalks for end-of-summer savings from locally owned boutiques. During the week of the event, the map will be posted online at AlexandriaSidewalkSale.com, accessible via a QR code on posters at participating stores and available in print for pickup at the Alexandria Visitor Center, 221 King Street.

Explore local items ranging from vintage clothes and jewelry to plants, books, home décor and much more. Plus, listen to live bands at the corner of Fayette and King streets and the unit block of King Street at the waterfront. Parking is available in various parking garages in Old Town as you explore participating boutiques throughout the day.
