ALEXANDRIA, VA – Now is the time to apply for the prestigious honor of being named one of Alexandria’s best and brightest in the annual 40 Under 40 program sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce in Alexandria.

“We are always so proud of the candidates, and the incredible things they are doing in the community,” says ALX Chamber CEO Joe Haggerty.  “From young teachers to business owners, the award winners run the gamut. I encourage any young person doing innovative things in Alexandria to apply.”

Launched in 2016, the Chamber ALX’s 40 Under 40 Awards program recognizes Alexandria’s business community leaders, who will have a powerful impact on the thriving business culture for years to come. Honorees come from a variety of industries, have diverse educational backgrounds, and wide-ranging philanthropic and community service experiences. Since its inception, it has quickly grown into one of the region’s most popular emerging leader programs.
