Adopt a Pet in Alexandria: Meet Molly
ALEXANDRIA, VA-Adoptable Molly is an 8-month-old female dog who weighs 63 pounds, but could stand to lose a few, if she’s totally honest. Molly is part dog, part piggie … or so we assume. Besides her rolly polly body type, she also makes incredibly enchanting piggie snorts when she’s trying to get your attention. Molly is exuberant and always ready for a romp around the play yard, a stroll around the neighborhood, or just a cuddle session on the couch. As a young pup, she’s working on her manners and is progressing very well. This wiggly, smiley gal is looking for a family who will continue to work with her on training and provide her with lots of love and affection. Molly came from a home with other dogs, so the AWLA thinks she could adjust well to a canine friend. The organization can facilitate doggie meet and greets with interested adopters at the shelter.
The AWLA is located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave. Founded in 1946, the AWLA has supported and served as a resource for homeless animals. The organization remains an integral part of the community by providing opportunities for adoption, spay and neuter assistance, education, and outreach. To learn more, visit alexandriaanimals.org.
