Community Meeting: Want to weigh in on Alexandria’s Sign Rules?

From Digital signs to painted walls and murals and freestanding signs

ALEXANDRIA, VA – On Monday, April 1 at 6 p.m., the Department of Planning & Zoning will host a community meeting to introduce potential updates to the City’s sign ordinance and receive input from attendees.

Topics of discussion will include digital signs, illuminated signs above 35 feet, painted wall signs/murals, temporary signs, A-frame signs, and freestanding signs; and reorganization of sign regulations and updates to increase consistency and clarity.
