Ribbon Cutting at Pride on the Avenue With Local LGBT-Elected Officials

ALEXANDRIA, VA-State Senator Adam Ebbin, former City Council member and WMATA Board Chair Paul Smedberg, Clerk of Court Greg Parks, DRBA board member Dan Roth, and City Council member Kirk McPike joined Homegrown Restaurant Group co-owner Bill Blackburn for a rainbow ribbon-cutting ceremony. The group celebrated the opening of Del Ray’s newest pop-up bar concept, Pride on the Avenue., a June 13 press release reported.

“We were honored to celebrate our official opening with a few of our most loved City leaders, and we appreciate their support,” said Blackburn.

Pride on the Avenue is located at 2312 Mt. Vernon Avenue in the heart of Del Ray and features a special Pride-themed menu and specialty cocktails.
