Sign Up Now to Participate in the 53rd Annual Alexandria Scottish Christmas Walk Parade

ALEXANDRIA, VA-The Scottish Christmas Walk Parade is a hit every year. If you want to participate in the 53rd annual event this December, the time to sign up is now.

In an email released this morning, the Scottish Walk said, “Whether you’re a proud Scot or simply love the rich Christmas traditions and vibrant culture of Scotland, this event is a perfect way to celebrate together.”

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday, December 7, 2024
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Location: Old Town Alexandria

Registration is happening in two windows:

Round 1: September 3 – October 4, 2024 – Bands and Performance Groups, Scottish clans and pipe bands, Dog clubs

Round 2: September 16 – October 11, 2024 – Community and Specialty Units- Nonprofits, scouts, schools, and others

Click HERE to register. There is a $75 early application fee, valid until October 11. The regular fee is $125 and is applicable from October 12 to November 1. All parade units are required to pay the appropriate fee upon submission of the application. if the application is accepted, there will be no further fees due.
