Attend the Community Volunteer Fair This Weekend in Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA-A community fair will be held this weekend giving Alexandria nonprofits the opporunity to show their work and let people know how they can help make a difference. More than 40 nonprofits will be there. Volunteer Alexandria and JustServe are acting as co-hosts. It takes place on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 3 to 5 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (2810 King St.).

“These nonprofits serve a variety of needs in the community and service different demographics
from supporting animals, children, families, refugees, and more,” reads a press release. “Community members of all ages can explore the booths and find a way to contribute with their unique talents.”
