Tomashie and Shrodinger, Our Cats of November
Alexandria, VA – “This is a picture of Tomashie (a Czech name I gave him, for some reason),” says Jeff Cukr, in Alexandria, Virginia. “He is our neighborhood stray cat who comes to us for food and water.”
The Cukr family built him a “cat house” for when he comes to visit. “He seems to like it, either inside or on top sunning!” say the Cukrs.

It’s insulated with a comfortable pad on the “floor” and a rear “emergency escape” opening. “In winter we put in a heating pad made for outdoor cats. We wanna keep him well fed and warm. He’s a bit feral, but we’ve made progress in socializing him … we’ve passed the touch barrier when he lets us touch his nose!”
If you see him out and about on “patrol”, tell him, “Hello Tomashie!””

“Schrodinger is the round peg in the square hole. He is named after the famous cat from quantum physics theory.”
