Alexandria, VA – La Tingeria Mexican Restaurant is now open at 3950 Wheeler Ave., home of Port City Brewing Company. The third Halal restaurant opened with Chef David Peña in the kitchen and is a permanent partner of Port City Brewery.
Port City featured a rotating variety of food trucks to provide food at the brewery, including La Tingeria. According to a news release from Port City founder, Bill Butcher, “Our customers have been asking for more consistent food options… We are delighted to partner with David and his team at La Tingeria. Their menu is both authentic and unique, and the quality is top notch. Of course, tacos and craft beer are a natural pairing.”
The restaurant menu features his well-known goat, chicken tinga, and beef birria tacos plus his Sonoran hot dogs. Look for new and different items to show up in his menu at this location.
