Alexandria Hosts 47th Annual Jazz Festival June 14

ALEXANDRIA, VA-Alexandria will host the 47th Annual Jazz Festival on Saturday, June 14. If you love jazz, this festival is for you. It is free to attend and will be held at Waterfront Park (1A Prince St.). The music begins at 3 p.m.

The festival site has lawn seating. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets. Food will be available for purchase. Regarding pets, the city says they are welcome on-leash, “but please be mindful of noise and crowd size.”

There are several ways to get to Waterfront Park. The city encourages the use of public transportation or biking.
