Alexandria’s Salon deZEN Hosts Girls’ Night Out for FOGH Residents

Five Friends of Guest House had a Girls' Night at the Local Salon

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Five Friends of Guest House residents were treated to a girls’ night of a hair and makeup makeover, jewelry giveaways, photos, food, and fun, courtesy of Salon deZEN.

The event, part of Salon deZEN’s commitment to service and community partnership, was a huge success, despite a last-minute site change after an air conditioning fail at their 118 Fayette Street location. Thankfully the party moved to their new location at 533 Montgomery Street, with plenty of A/C to keep the party cool.

Maria Elizabeth, owner of Salon deZEN, knows the power of seeing your own beauty and the confidence that inspires. “It’s incredibly humbling to support these beautiful humans as they work to elevate their lives,” she said. “It’s truly an honor to play a role in their journey. Events like these are powerful reminders of why our Alexandria community is so special.”

Salon deZEN plans to host similar events with area organizations that work with women in need. Contact Jane Collins at [email protected] for more details.
