City of Alexandria Hosting Job Fair May 6

ALEXANDRIA, VA-Looking for work? The City of Alexandria is hosting a job fair next week, specifically highlighting openings with our city’s government.  This in-person event, outside of City Hall (301 King St.), is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Individuals from the city’s Benefits and Retirements team will be on hand to discuss the benefits of working for the city. Standard benefits include health insurance, paid parental leave, and sick and annual leave.

Representatives from ACPS’ HR department will also be present at the job fair.

Attendees have the chance to participate in two tours of City Hall, A presentation by Workforce Development about furthering careers, and question-and-answer sessions with the Virginia Employment Commission.

Free professional headshots will be offered by the Office of Communications.
