Alexandria, VA – Enjoy Independence Day? Four-day weekends are always great! It was kind of rough going back to work, wasn’t it? But the good thing about that is if you keep busy, the days pass quickly. And before you know it, another weekend is near. The next few days are supposed to be hot, so stay cool at these events.

Del Ray Music Festival

Saturday, July 13

Enjoy beer and food while listening to live music on two stages! The most talented musicians from the D.C.-area have played this festival, now in its 12th year. Once again, it is free and all ages are welcome. For more info, click HERE.

Want more fireworks? Join in another celebration of our country and this beautiful city as well. Alexandria has been around for 270 years! The Alexandria Symphony Orchestra will play, there will be cake and food vendors. The party will end with a magnificent fireworks display that will light up the night sky.
