Tony Craddock, Jr. & Cold Front. Tony’s discovery smooth jazz on the Weather Channel’s “Local on the 8s” at age eight led him to the saxophone and also cultivated his love for weather, culminating with him earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Cornell University. Now, he uplifts listeners with weather-themed inspirational jazz, gospel and R&B, reaching tens of thousands of monthly listeners worldwide through online streaming platforms, with his music also airing nationwide on Sirius XM Radio and Music Choice.
His latest album H20 was produced by chart-topping guitarist Ken Navarro and features Grammy award-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum on a soul-stirring rendition of “Amazing Grace.” The release earned Tony three nominations for the D.C. area Wammie Awards in the categories of best jazz album, best jazz song, and best jazz group with Tony Craddock, Jr. & Cold Front.
Tony has headlined concerts at City Winery DC, Bethesda Blues & Jazz, Blues Alley, the National Gallery of Art, U.S. Botanic Garden, and other venues and festivals throughout Mid-Atlantic and South, while being blessed to share the stage with award-winning artists Norman Connors, Jean Carne, Ken Navarro, Ben Tankard, Luther Barnes and Kim Jordan.
