The Lee-Fendall House will offer “The General’s Tour,” a guided walking tour of Robert E. Lee sites in Alexandria’s Historic Old Town on Saturday, June 9. The tour will begin at 10:00 AM at the Lee-Fendall House at 614 Oronoco Street, and will highlight the complicated legacy of the Confederate general’s life in Alexandria, his hometown from the age of five. The tour will last approximately 90 minutes over 1.5 miles. Tour space is limited, so the purchase of tickets in advance is highly recommended. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. FREE for members.
