In honor of Rotary International “Peace Month,” the Alexandria West Rotary Club (AWRC) invites you to join them on February 4th at 6:30pm at Brandywine Living at 450 S. Pickett Street in Alexandria to hear their keynote speaker, Vice Admiral Peter Neffenger, former Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator. VADM Neffenger will be sharing his wisdom from his years of experience in conflict and crisis management.  Prior to his 2015-2017 at TSA, VADM Neffenger enjoyed a long and distinguished career with the U.S. Coast Guard which included his work as the Deputy National Incident Commander for the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.

At this event, AWRC will also be hosting Little Friends For Peace (LFFP) which runs week-long Peace Camps throughout the summer and also brings peace education to schools and after-school programs for youth across the DC-MD-VA area. LFFP also offers trainings, peace circles and enrichment programs for adults throughout the year. AWRC will be accepting donations for LFPP at this event.
